Welcome to the Women´s Forum The Women`s Forum will be held during WEC 2008 and its primary goal is to elaborate a diagnosis on how women engineers are inserted in the global context, observing aspects such as politics, economy, culture, social responsibility, all connected to the challenges faced in order to have gender equality. Besides, one aspect that must be observed is the participation of women in positions of power. |
Award Having as its goal the acknowledgement of women`s work and female students` work in Engineering, an award will be given to five women.

Women´s Forum in the Tecnology Area Having as its goal to increase women`s participation and discuss their performance in the labor market, programs and projects were created in Confea and Creas as well. In the beginning, the methodology was applied to Women`s Working Groups. |
